TOGETHER IN TRUST
Learning to See and to Be Seen
AREZZO 19-23 AUGUST 2026
Tantra Yoga experiential retreat
Level I
With Gabriele Del Monte
Level I
OVERVIEW It is widely acknowledged that theatre—the oldest fully developed art form—was born amidst the Dionysian rites of Ancient Greece.
Human beings have always felt the need to channel their instincts into moments of shared celebration, occasions in which it became acceptable to loosen the inhibitions that make civilised life possible.
Even more fascinating is the fact that these moments of collective abandon sat alongside the staging of human dramas.
Dionysian ecstasy—blurring the boundary between human and animal—was not enough to relieve those ancient peoples of the burden of existence. It also had to be nourished by the uniquely human gift of telling our own stories.
Historians inform us that the festivals of Dionysus involved copious amounts of alcohol and hallucinogens, bloody sacrifices, and orgiastic rituals... Relax—none of that on the menu.
What we will do is venture to the threshold of our primordial psyche—careful not to lose our bearings—and offer one another a rare gift: the story of our lives transformed into a work of art.
Ask yourself:
Have you ever found the courage to tell someone everything about yourself?
Have you ever wondered what holds you back?
What do you fear would happen if you did?
To be together in trust means giving one another permission to rediscover our long betrayed authenticity.
It means entering into a shared commitment to growth, creating a field of presence in which nothing needs to be hidden or denied.
And in this wonderful freedom, in this long-awaited promised land, our light may finally shine.

WHAT WE DO IN PRACTICE Arrival
We ask participants to arrive on the first day in the late afternoon, around 5:30 pm, allowing everyone time to settle comfortably into their accommodation, explore the surroundings, and enjoy dinner.
After dinner, we break the ice with a welcome circle, which concludes with a simple opening ritual inspired by the theme of the retreat.
The following days
A typical day begins around 8:00 am with a very light breakfast—just enough to support a dynamic Vinyasa Yoga practice lasting approximately 90 minutes. Visit the dedicated page to learn more about this style of Yoga and how the intensity of the practice changes according to the retreat level.
The practice flows into an extended guided relaxation session, after which we gather for a refreshing brunch by the pool. Help yourself to some fruit and whatever else you need from the buffet—because we usually skip lunch. Instead, we enjoy a mindful walking meditation or individual meditation in the shade of the maritime pines.
The afternoon swings between structured activities, such as guided breathing practices, energetic massage, improvisation exercises, and open sharing sessions in pairs or groups.
In this particular retreat, time is divided roughly equally between embodied practices and others in which spoken expression takes centre stage.
Over the five days we live together, we weave dense threads of words—revealing ourselves, receiving revelations, and playing on the subtle boundary between truth and fiction.
No topic will be taboo.
An open mind and a willingness to be emotionally moved are expected.
This is a Level II retreat, and that means we’ll make a step forward in removing the ego’s defenses. There will come a time when each participant is invited to get naked before everyone else’s eyes, welcoming the flow of emotions that this simple act brings along.
Nature excursion
On the excursion day, we wake up early, enjoy a more substantial breakfast, and set off for our destination, taking with us everything needed for a packed lunch.
Outdoor activities vary depending on the location chosen, but typically include two to three hours of walking and an equal amount of time dedicated to meditation in nature. We return in time for dinner.
Closing and departure
After breakfast, the final morning is dedicated to closing the retreat: reflecting on the journey we have shared, acknowledging the work we have done, and saying goodbye to the group.
After meaningful experiences shared together, it is important not to rush the farewell, but to take the time to honour each person who has accompanied us along the way.
Departure is scheduled for around 11:30 AM.
COSTThe avarage cost for this retreat is of € 761. However, the actual final price may vary depending on discounts you are eligible for and accomodation preferences.
